The Written Code Switch: Alchemical Process of Re-Coding Life is a 12-month virtual coaching circle and author incubation program created and guided by Marveta Johnson of The Urban Intellect. Centering the experiences of Black women in America, it supports people navigating layered grief, ongoing stress, and personal transformation—from wherever they are. Through guided journaling, honest conversation, creative expression, and behavioral self-observation, participants explore the beliefs and survival patterns shaping their lives. The process encourages self-compassion, personal accountability, and intentional choices while helping participants reclaim their voices. The virtual program includes 26 two-hour online sessions through The Hearth, a circle for shared reflection and connection. Marveta’s Sani Rivers (Book I), presented in raw draft form, serves as a living textbook that models reinvention without perfection. Participants complete the book before the first session, then explore selected passages throughout the journey. Four stages guide the experience: Months 1–3: The Awakening & Breaking the Mask—recognize exhaustion, examine protective roles, and begin honest self-reflection. Months 4–6: The Unraveling & Unmasking Stress—explore recurring pain, unmet expectations, and patterns in daily behavior. Months 7–9: The Reconstruction & The Village—build supportive connections within the virtual circle, practice accountability, and draft an anthology contribution. Months 10–12: The Clearing & Full Sovereignty—integrate new perspectives and organize personal writing into a book blueprint. Participants work toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, community connection, and a consistent writing practice. Publishing milestones include credited reviewer recognition in Sani Rivers and one professionally edited chapter or journal entry in the annual collaborative anthology under The Urban Intellect imprint.
